High Shoals Falls Trail is a gentle 0.3-mile roundtrip walk located just under five miles north of our community. This easy, shaded path leads directly to a beautiful, hidden 30-foot waterfall that cascades over a series of mossy rocks into a peaceful creek. The walk involves a very short descent, making it highly accessible and a perfect visit for a morning stroll through the lush local woods. It is celebrated as one of Paulding County’s most enchanting, easy-to-reach natural hidden gems.
Located on the banks of Lake Acworth, is a highly-rated public course. It had a full renovation in 2010 and expanded its clubhouse in 2021. Designed by Ken Dye, it earned accolades as a Four-Star rating from Golf Digest and recognition as one of Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play." It is owned by Cobb County and operated by Bobby Jones Links.
