High Shoals Trail:

High Shoals Falls Trail is a moderate 2.4-mile roundtrip hike located in the Chattahoochee National Forest. This trail leads to two beautiful waterfalls: the smaller, Blue Hole Falls, which cascades into a deep, turquoise pool, and the larger High Shoals Falls, dropping over fifty feet in a series of cascades. The hike involves a steady descent and an continuous climb back, passing through lush forests with backcountry camping. It is highlighted as one of Georgia's most enchanting waterfall hikes.

Located on the banks of Lake Acworth, is a highly-rated public course. It had a full renovation in 2010 and expanded its clubhouse in 2021. Designed by Ken Dye, it earned accolades as a Four-Star rating from Golf Digest and recognition as one of Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play." It is owned by Cobb County and operated by Bobby Jones Links.
